🔎 In the US, the average #customer made 89 total chain restaurant #purchases in the 12 months which represents a 11% drop compared to the same period in 2019.
👉🏻 However, their spends are flat compared to 2019 with $1,279 spendings in 2021. This means the average spend per purchase was up 14%.
👉🏻 But does this mean that customers are more loyal to a chain specifically ? Indeed, an average customer in 2021 visited 17 unique chains compared to 20 in 2019. However, a chain restaurant should not consider their customer base as their own.
For instance, many chains like Popeyes are famous for a specific #meal/product and have experienced a growth.
