You can find these schools in almost every country. Faculties also deliver these degrees.
5- What are HRM’s main challenges currently ?
-
Talents’ shortage : globally, there is a shortage on the labour market that makes hiring processes delicate. Especially in terms of hard skills and specific knowledge, talents are scarce so companies are in high competition : it is up to the one who can make the best proposal (package, culture, policies, benefits etc.).
-
Attract the young generation : Gen-Z are coming into the workforce. On the contrary to the Millenials, they are overqualified (Master degree has become the norm) and so, they have higher expectations especially about the salary and the company’s purpose. This generation’s specificity is that they are overconnected, well-informed and committed to causes : this workforce is ready to decline a job offer if the proposal is not in line with its values. HRM needs to implement real hiring strategies to attract talents and retain them.
-
Employer’s brand : With social media -especially LinkedIn for corporate communication-, the HRM needs to implement a strong employer’s brand with a relevant organizational culture that will support the communication department in their media. Companies need to be transparent and attractive and capitalize on their own employees to be the brand’s ambassadors.
