Because of a worker shortage in the UK, food prices may rise soon

👉🏼 There is a wage inflation because of all the vacancies (+500 000) across all the supply chain and the lack of skilled workers. This leads to food inflation.

👉🏼 Because of the Covid 19 crisis and the busiest weeks of the year coming, the industry doubled the lead time in order to avoid any impact on products’ availability for consumers.
