WINEMAKING METHODS

Grapes are handpicked early in the morning and processed the same day. Skin contact with fermentation lasts for ten days with natural malolactic fermentation.Wine ages for 18 months in new 225L barrique barrels, a combination of American and French oak.

Testament vineyard is located on the hillsides of Jadrtovac, 70 to 100 m above sea level. Vines are planted in limestone karst with less than 20% soil – these harsh conditions result in premium grapes. All vineyard work is completed manually and wine is certified organic.

TASTING NOTES

Red wine with an aroma of maraschino, dried fruits, dark chocolate and sweet spices. The taste is powerful and complex, with smooth tannins and a herbal character.
