WINEMAKING METHODS

Grapes are handpicked early in the morning and processed the same day. Skin contact with fermentation lasts ten days with natural malolactic fermentation. Wine ages for 14 months in new barrique and tonneau barrels, a combination of American and French oak.

Testament vineyard is located on the hillsides of Jadrtovac, 70 to 100 m above sea level. Vines are planted in limestone karst with less than 20% soil – these harsh conditions result in premium grapes. All vineyard work is competed manually and wine is certified organic.

TASTING NOTES

Red wine with a dark ruby opaque colour and an aroma of ripe red fruit, dark chocolate and spices. The flavour is opulent with lively acidity and powerful structure.
