I’m passionate about food and its history. Foods that have been grown and eaten for hundreds of years fascinate me. Living in South America for almost 2 decades, combined with living in both NZ & now Australia has exposed me to a wide range of these foods and their rich cultural history. Understanding this history and the continuing cultural influences is how I make a difference to my clients. I work with farmers and processors in South America to bring ancient grains to the Oceanian market. Backed by a strong team on the ground in South America, we have the edge with robust quality control systems and market intelligence. My interests include hydroponic farming and experimenting with both new and ancient methods of food preparation from traditional BBQs to sous vide. Getting to meet people in the food industry is an exciting part of the role I play.
