AHA Honey Limited Presentation
AHA Honey was founded in 2018 by a young Tahitian beekeeper, Tauturuhe Rey. Arrived in New Zealand in 2014, they started their beekeeping journey in the honey industry with one hive. Time past and the Tahitian couple turn their passion into professional activity. Operating a 100 hives around their region, the Rey’s family wish to share with you their authentic honey.
AHA Honey Limited Manuka Honey is sourced from the most isolated site, far from any intensive agriculture and chemical free environment. Well known in the medical and luxury hospitality industries, our honey is a high end product produced with sustainable practices.
AHA Honey Limited products come under 4 different grades regarding the level of MGO (bioactivity): Multifloral Manuka Honey, Manuka Honey +5, Manuka Honey +10, Manuka Honey +15.
The MGO (Methylglyoxal) is natural compound only present in the New Zealand native tree, the tea tree or Manuka tree (Leptospermum). This compound gives to the Manuka Honey its authenticity and it’s unique healing properties.
Each grade answer to a special need:
- Multifloral Manuka Honey: it is a cocktails of different nectar collected by our bees including Manuka. This can be used as a natural sweetener for cooking.
- Manuka Honey +5 (MGO83): Just as the multifloral manuka, this honey can be used as a subtile natural sweetener.
- Manuka Honey +10 (MGO263): It will suit a person looking for a daily supplement to add to their diet, desiring a better well being.
- Manuka Honey +15 (MGO514): The high concentration of MGO reflect the high healing properties our honey has to offert. This honey can be used for light wound, sore throat, digestion issue and other.
All their honey are tested and certificates are attached to each batch to guarantee the quality of the product.
